Cardrona Championship Golf Course
Less than 2 miles from Glentress is the wonderful Cardrona Championship Golf Course with the backdrop of the Tweed Valley hills skirted by the famous River Tweed.
Designed by former Ryder Cup player Dave Thomas in 2001, the Par 72 parkland and woodland course blends effortlessly with its surroundings . Wide undulating USGA greens and a distance of over 7000 yards from the medal tees, Cardrona is a truly enjoyable challenge for golfers of every ability.
The Cardrona golf course has matured quickly and has already hosted a number of Euro Pro Tour and European Challenge Tour events, attracting golfers from all over the world to compete at Cardrona.

Peebles Golf Club
Founded in 1892, the Peebles Golf Club was first opened in 1908 with the present Kirklands course remodelled in 1933/34 by Harry Colt, designer of, among many great courses, Wentworth, the New course at Sunningdale, Stoke Poges, the Eden Course at St. Andrews and Royal Portrush.
Peebles is a championship course, having played host in the past to a number of amateur championship events and is considered to be one of the finest in the Borders for the quality of its turf, greens and the stunning views.

Innerleithen Golf Club
Opened in 1886, Innerleithen Golf Club offers an attractive and challenging 9 hole golf course only 6 miles from Glentress.
Designed by 3 times Open champion Willie Park Jnr, Innerleithen golf course is set on a river bed and as a result is easily walkable with only three of the tees being elevated. The Leithen Valley and its river form an integral part of the course and requires some accurate and thoughtful shot making in order to score well.
