Blue Route (blue grade)
The Glentress Blue Route has had extra sections of singletrack added over the years, all carefully designed with Blue Route riders in mind. The result makes climbing from the trailhead to the Buzzards Nest car park a much easier, more enjoyable experience, and the descent back down the Blue Route a whole lot of fun!
Grade: Blue
Distance: 8km Lower Loop from Trailhead to Buzzards Nest and back (recommended). Upper Loop from Buzzards Nest adds a further 8km on to the Route (16km in total).
Best to park at: Osprey/7stanes car park.
80% singletrack for Lower Loop; 60% singletrack for Upper Loop.
Estimated ride time: 1-2 hours for each loop.
